Freebirds World Burrito - Fort Worth

I had mixed feelings about my experience at this restaurant. The food, which included a chicken and prime rib bowl, was average. The taste was satisfactory, but the price was $20, which was a bit high. I was also disappointed by the noisy chairs in the restaurant. One of the employees was dragging them around, creating a loud, irritating sound that was reminiscent of nails on a chalkboard.

Today, I ordered from this location through DoorDash. I have been ordering the same burrito prepared the same way for almost 15 years. However, when I received my order today, I noticed that it took six big bites before realizing there was no meat in the burrito. It also seemed like there was a lot more rice than usual. Upon opening the burrito, I found only 3-4 small chunks of meat at the bottom, with 70% of the filling being rice. The most disappointing part was that when I requested a refund, DoorDash said it was not eligible.

I was very disappointed with our experience at Ridge Rock Freebirds today. My wife and I were really craving Freebirds, but because I am in a wheelchair and she is recovering from knee surgery, we were planning to order for pickup. Unfortunately, when I called to see if they could accommodate curbside pickup due to our physical limitations, I was told no. We prefer not to use delivery services, so that wasn't an option for us. It's a shame because we really enjoy Freebirds and wish they could have been more accommodating to our situation.

I ordered a bowl with all the toppings and it was delicious. The friendly server with a smile made it even better. The restaurant was clean inside. I will definitely be returning.

I really enjoy the vegan choices available at this restaurant. You have the opportunity to create a satisfying meal with their diverse options. The vegan chorizo is especially delicious.
