Kappo Honda - Fountain Valley

This is one of our favorite Japanese restaurants. They have delicious yakitori and sushi! It's a great spot for date night, and now our children love it too, making it a perfect family outing. Everything we ordered was fantastic. Don't forget to try the sherbet - it's delicious! The service was excellent.

I may not have a strong understanding of Izakaya style dining, but I know that I enjoy it. Unfortunately, one of our favorite spots closed due to covid. We were on the hunt for a new place that could provide a similar culinary experience, and this place fit the bill perfectly. The food was delicious as expected. I give a special shoutout to the servers who were incredibly polite, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of. The interior was decorated to match the theme, even down to the design of the tables. Overall, it was a great experience and you won't be disappointed.
