Excellent solid German food, good wines, great atmosphere, whether you want to discuss philosophy and politics with friends or have a romantic dinner.

Cozy, German, affordable, nicely sized portions. Very good service. I've been here 3 times and it's quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants in Frankfurt

Das Personal ist Freundlich. Das Essen ist genau so, wie ich mir ein gutes Essen in Frankfurt vorstelle. Nur besser! Preiswert.

Visited this place twice. Both times the food was good but the service wasn't. Took really long even if the place was nearly empty. I will give it another try and I hope I can write then a better recommendation!

Das Essen wird von Jahr zu Jahr leider minderwertiger. Die Röstis sind schon lange nicht mehr das, was sie mal waren.Nicht durchgebraten und schleimig. Der Ruf ist besser als das Lokal. Aber am schlimmsten war die Patronin. Schlecht gelaunte Histerikerin, die eigentlich keine Lust auf Gäste hat, aber schon scharf aufs Geld ist. Beschwerden werden prinzipiell abgeschmettert und es wird der ein oder andere Gast auch mal angeschrien. Also Eckhaus geht gar nicht (mehr).
