So I left a very negative review of my first experience at steak ‘n shake in illinois. we have decided to give them another shot here where we live now. this place turned it around for us! the food was well prepared and tasted worlds better than the first. and the customer service was at night and day! so friendly, fast and easy to refresh! we will not have a problem here!

See you later in and out. S&S is the best burger in the Midwest. Love it. Double cheeseburger is the way to go.

Place was closed by 10:30PM even though their hours are listed as open til midnight. Really unhappy about it. Well deserved 1 star. Change your listed hours.

We love the food but they've gone to a kiosk to order and I don't like that I liked being one on one with a waiter or waitress better ..I think they made a huge mistake going to the kiosk for ordering!
