I visited this restaurant a few years ago when it first opened, and the owner was very interested in learning about my vegan diet. He asked me several questions about what ingredients make a good vegan pizza, sandwich, pasta, etc. I gave him some suggestions on vegan cheeses and meats. I have tried their vegan pies before, and it is incredible how similar it tastes to a classic Italian pizza. While Pat D's is nearby and offers a wider and bolder selection, Romeo's does a better job at creating traditional dishes that don't taste vegan. You can order a large pizza with mock meats and cheeses, or a personal pizza with a variety of great ingredients. I also tried their Vegan Meatball Sub, and it was delicious. The restaurant has a classic takeout/sit-down pizza place atmosphere but feels larger and more elegant, with a great ambiance. I would definitely recommend Romeo's, as they have some amazing options.
I was traveling and looking for a restaurant where both vegans and omnivores could enjoy a meal together. This place had plenty of options for all of us, with a dedicated vegetarian/vegan section on the menu. While non-vegan pizzas were displayed, I ordered a vegan eggplant parm sub with violife cheese, which was prepared fresh and hot in no time. The service was friendly and prompt, making the overall experience delicious and enjoyable.
I had one of the best Rice Balls with Sauce at this restaurant. Their pizza is also a favorite of mine, with a crust that is just perfect.
The food is delicious! I especially appreciate that they offer vegan options so I can enjoy a meal without worrying about my lactose allergy.
