Avaliação da contribuiçãoI was glad that my friend brought me directly to this cozy beacon for a late dinner. it has a wooden cellar bar with tables in stand-by style as well as a traditional restaurant room upstairs. eating was good, healthy, traditional local tariff we both enjoyed our main dishes, both of which were on a local macaroni style dish. the beer was also good.
We were too late and our favorite places to close, so we came to the cellar. long list of dressed with all kinds of food packed in plastic foil. faster and friendly service with mass of visitors. the cellar was a bit further...from the street at least not as packed as other tourist restaurants. Eating was okay. very well prepared filet, although I ordered medium and it was almost bleached. Argentine quality has compensated the lack of prep. for regular restaurant relatiw small. we had a starter, so it was enough, but without perhaps enough for the renter or guests on the diet.
I always visit here when in FN. Love the atmosphere and the food. Highly recommended. Planning a return trip soon so hopefully will still be of the same high standards I have always experienced.
If you want local' food then try this place you may have a better experience than us. The service even though late and packed was swift, indeed the food arrived almost too quickly. Hubby had roasted knuckle with sauerkraut what could...go wrong? Just mediocre, skin not crispy enough we are crackling experts! I had kaiser Spaetzle, the simplest Bavarian dish going. It was luke warm, the cheese sauce just too saucy (ready-made and the onions not cooked enough. So they have the menu and I imagine on a good night could be great ... But our experience ...
The staff was impolite and unprofessional. and also, when getting in from the one side, feels like you are getting in a casino with those machines..
