Jlb Eatery - Friendswood

Let me start with it cost us 50$ for 2 adults and 1 child. This was our first time in and its not much to look at but the food speaks for itself.We all ordered different kinds of burgers ?. They are massive. The bun's are spectacular and the meat seasoning was on point. The veggies were fresh and delicious ?. Fries ? were seasoned and fresh crispy. Overall we definitely enjoyed our meal. We're absolutely coming back soon.

I order from JLB today for the first time and when I received my food it looked cooked through the (bacon burger) I prefer to eat my meat medium as I’m pregnant and don’t want to eat undercooked meats. The bottom bun was very soggy but the top was good. The curly fries were good that’s what I can say. Not a happy camper today. Wish I could give 5 stars but was not able to really eat what I ordered spent 30 dollars ?

The burger was a nice portion but very unhappy as I stated I wanted it medium well.It seemed to be cooked from the outside but when I bit into it, it was very very pink. I'm pregnant and prefer not to eat raw or undercooked meats. the curly fries were good

The food and service were equally great, and I plan to return and try more menu items. The interior is small, but it is clean and has adequate seating. The service was excellent. The cashier/manager was very welcoming and offered recommendations for food. Additionally, she offered several different types of salad dressing and sauces for the fish. I ordered the cajun-style fish. It was excellent. The fish n' chips I eat are hit or miss, and this is definitely a hit! The batter was crispy and seasoned. The fish was soft and flaky. Paired with the tartar sauce, I was a happy camper. The fries/chips are equally excellent. They were the perfect level of crispy, had good flavor, and were a great complement to the fish. The same can be said for the hush puppy, which I wish I had more of. The slice of bread was fluffy and light, and you can tell they're not lying when they say it is made fresh. Overall, I recommend you try JLB Eatery. The prices are fair, so it's not a huge investment to enjoy the food.

Usually order our food to take home but this time time we stayed in the dining room for lunch at around 12:10 pm on Sept. 27, 2023.Excellent food fresh off the grill, but dining room is small you can hear everyone's conversation. The tea is terrible, maybe the container hasn't been cleaned or exchanged out for a new one in a long time. Gigantic big screen T.V. is a plus. I ordered the fried catfish and shrimp fried with cornmeal. For dessert I always get the funnel cake fries with powdered sugar and you can see they are generous with the powdered sugar.The food is awesome I would definitely recommend and visit here again.Parking: Strip mall type parking. Park up front against the windows/walkway if you can.
