Avaliação da contribuiçãoFirst time customer. Ordered a monster burrito for $2 extra. Menu said $9.95. Told them I was new so they walked me through the ingredients as none are labeled. Price was never mentioned. For example I was told I can get cilantro rice or cauli rice. I got a steak burrito with cauli rice, potatoes, and guacamole. Burrito now cost me me $18. For a burrito??? Even worse I asked for very little potatoes and guacamole. Yet that cost me $3.20. Now if you charge me $10 for a burrito it should come with the ingredients. I get if you ask for added lobster, but these guys charge for sour cream! In fact only 3 of the 8-9 ingredients I got were not an extra charge and each individual charge was more than $1.60 each with no mention of an extra cost. This is plain deception and greed. The burrito was good, but nothing more memorable than any other strip mall shop. Definitely not $18 like I bought it at Wolfgang Puck's new restaurant. Won't be back. One more thing. They have all these signs about healthy, low carb, vegan, gluten free, etc. Then you buy a drink and it's almost all regular soda, sweet tea, and one tap of diet Coke. Kinda defeats the purpose of advertising healthy when your drink selection has more sugar than ice cream.
We don't have a Freebirds near us, so it's been a while since we last visited. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. One thing that puzzled me was how they use the rating system on the door as you exit. It was interesting to see the employees hit the green button every 15 minutes, leaving me wondering about its purpose.
I had heard great things about Freebirds on social media, so I was excited to give it a try. It's a laid-back burrito place where you can customize your meal, similar to Subway. It reminded me of Qdoba or Baja Fresh. I was pleased to find vegetarian options, and I decided on the vegan chorizo burrito bowl, which was delicious. The chorizo had a meat-like texture and the seasoning was spot-on. The restaurant had a trendy and clean atmosphere. The chips and queso were a tasty addition to my meal.
The people are great. The food is great. The quantities are huge kids eat free on Sundays. What more can you ask? Well, great management of course. The GM, Dale Russell is very nice reasonable the staff are very friendly. I highly recommend it!
I ordered a burrito with the vegetarian meat substitute and I was very pleased with the flavor. It's a great choice for those looking for a delicious source of vegetable proteins. It might even be better than Chipotle's Sofritas, depending on your taste preference.
