I am a Farmer's Market fan, so I was excited to go here. I was disappointed in the amount of fresh produce that was available, as there were only a few vendors with produce. There were vendors with items and prepared foods for sale. The prices seemed moderate to high. We did not eat there. There were four of us, and we did not find many things to buy. I do not plan to return.
Found this farmers market online. I went and they have Pastrami Sandwiches by this place called Pastrami Hut make sure you get there early. OMG Their from California and they make it on a roll just like The Hat and it's phenomenally good! Like it's the best in Dallas. You better stock up for the week because they're only there Saturday and Sunday, you'll definitely be craving during the week.
Loved this place. The man who played saxophone stole the show.Loved all the vendors and the small town vibe...However, I was extremely disappointed it was mainly vendors with products, soaps, nicknacks and lotions.I came for fruit and vegetables and jams. Maybe I'm just old school...But there were only two vendors that had just that. And they were so swamped it was hard to get service.Think next time, I'll make the drive all the way into the city of Dallas, which is wild given I live 2 miles away.
Love it. Always get coffee from Yiayias. And dog food from Pet Wants. I definitely recommend fresh meat (beef, chicken, pork chops, oxtails).
