Highway 58 Bbq - Ft Oglethorpe

Food cooked to order, I had the Jumbo Smoked Bologna sandwich combo, spicy. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere is just like any other hole in the wall mom and pop place (my favorite). Despite the food being cooked to order, I feel my order was out rather quickly. The food tasted delicious and fresh. Knocked off one star for the sandwich not being spicy and no salt shakers on the tables, only pepper. Over all, would eat here again.

There are only four tables or so in a little tiny room so you might have to take it home and eat it. But I'm going to tell you right now this is the best barbecue I've had in the state of Tennessee, you need to get in your car and drive down there right now and get yourself some ribs. The corn nuggets are good too

Tried this for the first time tonight. Service was nice quick food was great. I will definitely be returning.

Strictly based on taste, my family and I did not like the HWY 5 8BBQ. The BBQ sauce is heavy vinegar based. I ordered the BBQ chicken plate. The chicken was flavorless and watery. The potato salad had ingredients that I've never had in potato salad before and I wasn't a fan at all. The customer service was fine. The location is small but cute and indoor seating is available. Parking is free and onsite. It's in the same shopping center as Elder's.
