The staff of the Ku Lake Side Café was really friendly and the view from the two floors above the entrance is amazing. You see the lake and the mountains behind it. But the food and drinks are really bad. The espresso was not a real espresso, but max. of a moka. The cake was bought and heated only in the microwave. All prices were far above a reasonable amount. But the worst at all: The menu has either vegan or vegetarian options and if a friend ordered a fish paste, it probably poisons herself and has a bad stomach for the rest of the day. Absolutely no experience you want to do. It's a pity that the Ku don't use their amazing place for a better kitchen.
Basically, the title says. I enjoyed the morning I spent at the Ku Cafe. The view of the lake was spectacular and the drinks were phenomenal. I had a creamy soy milk Matcha Latte and the best peach smoothness I had ever made with fresh local peach. The little lotus cookies that came with the drinks were also vegan. But what I could say, none of their food options were vegan and I had to grab snacks from a bibini before I left the area. Also note that if you order black tea, it comes with a small pitcher of milk. Do not specify milk or soy milk when ordering! Updated by previous review on 2021-11-08
KU is a café by the lake with a magnificent view. Pop up so the third floor and relax with your coffee and enjoy the landscape!
No vegan options. However if you’re needing breakfast you can get toast and jam nowhere else open at 9am! The coffee is good however.
