Avaliação da contribuiçãoI came across this roadside fruit stand, and it turned out to be much more than just a place for fruit! They have a wide range of items, including vegetables, nuts, honey, cheese, sausages, and many other fresh local products, all at affordable prices during my visit. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to do some grocery shopping or sample local goods.
The restaurant was busy and quite expensive. They don't source their produce from local farms; instead, many of the fruits and vegetables are imported from abroad. However, I did enjoy the fresh frozen pies. I accidentally left my sunglasses at the counter, so I called to inform them that I would be picking them up the next day, but their phone was out of service. What a surprise!
This place is always a wonderful stop! They have a broad variety of fruits and vegetables, as well as everything you need for a day by the river or a picnic. Be sure to try the local olives and jams, and there are plenty of delicious snacks to savor too!
Ask him why he's the only one with a scale and he'll respond with threatening abuse and vulgarity.Even though I'm local, I haven't been to this place for years because I always walked away feeling that I'd been significantly overcharged. It doesn't help that the checkout is always suspiciously fast and the receipts aren't itemized. With such healthy tourist traffic at their River Road location, you could really do well for yourself by taking advantage of out-of- towners.I wouldn't be making this serious accusation if it didn't happen every single time. The per-pound prices are very low, but don't be fooled. This place is a tourist trap.
Great place to stop and get some fruit and snacks if your heading out to the river. Has some of the best vegetables too
