Rifugio Delle Odle - Funes

I don’t understand the people that said the food wasnt good, this is one of the best experiences i have had in my entire life. Staff was super friendly and despite the views being covered by the foggy mist, the entire day felt surreal. Loved every second of being here

We followed the path from Santa Maddalena up the mountain to this restaurant. It was quite a climb through a beautiful forest (2 hours). There are several little streams with cold water. At the Geisleralm you can enjoy your food and drinks with beautiful views over the mountains. There are even a few mountain goats that you can pet before traversing down the mountain again!

This was my first hike and I am not a physically active person. I took 2 hrs to reach here because I took so many breaks in between. The starting 10 mins was normal and then the uphill hike began. I really enjoyed the hike. The view above the mountain was very good. The food in the restaurant is also superb. Never expected to get quality food from there but it was beyond our expectations. Tried pastas and bacon egg potato dish. Everything was fantastic.
