Ruby Tuesday - Gadsden

Our server was good. we sat in the bar area. the salatable was super and fresh. the tilapia with garnel and rice was particularly good after I had added alfredo sauce. my wife had the fried chicken and cookies. It was fine.

The waiting staff was absolutely on point fast with wonderful manners and was really on top of things. Never had an empty glass. But the food (as it has been for at least a few years) was bland I always finish my plate but not even close nor half way. Chicken was very dry though it was topped with an vinaigrette type glaze the sweet potato drys were pretty good the salad bar had a large variety of options the mixed drink I ordered was fairly decent .. the appetizer was bland the service it really why I gave it 4 instead of 3 stars. But as noted at first , Service itself was a 5 star A+ we had a young man with glasses and blonde hair (cant remember his name) who was one of the best waiters I had ever encountered (I can only think of a handful who were absolutely superb and stood out amongst others)

My daughter and I ate lunch here last weekend. I was hoping to find more gluten free options. They had them, but their prices are terrible! I ended up getting the salad bar and was definitely not impressed. The way it was set up there was loads of cross contamination. It would have been better if they put the gluten containing salads in the front. I found macaroni in the potato salad, eggs scattered in everything, just everything all mixed up from food dropping into other containers. I found things like eggs and some of the other more sticky ingredients impossible to get out of the spoons provided. I paid $40 for salad bar, a sandwich, and single salad, plus drinks. Sad! The young man in the bar area was very helpful to us, however.

I ordered the ribs, Cole slaw and French fries. My wife had a steak, salad bar. The restaurant was fairly busy but not crowded. It took 45 minutes for the food to arrive. The Cole slaw was warm, almost like it had been warmed deliberately? The ribs were good but a very small serving. My wife ordered the steak medium, but when it arrived it was very well done. The server was new and did a good job so the 2 stars are for her not the food. Definitely won't go back to this Ruby Tuesdays.

We arrived about 2 1/2 hours before closing. The hostess was very polite, and inviting. She seated us effortlessly. The restaurant was neat and clean in appearance. The food took a while to come out. I completely finished my salad and was trying to save room for my entree but I had to fix another salad! The food finally arrived and it was ok. We took a few bites and asked for to- go plates. The waiter ghosted after we paid and tipped him. We were given to-go plates by another waiter and left!
