Avaliação da contribuiçãoFriendly fast service. Accepted minor changes of our orders with grace. We ate a LOT green chili pepper in our time in NM, Jerry was no exception. Learn more about Gallup in our next post. Nomadic-serenity.com
We drove through town and stayed at Jerry's Cafe for dinner. The food was excellent, and the service was fast and friendly. The place was busy, but things continued. I would definitely recommend.
Quick service and super friendly. I dined-in as a single mom with two small boys and the staff was incredibly helpful. I had the stuffed sopaipilla and it was huge- shared with one of the boys and we still had leftovers.
Flat enchiladas were available with an egg. Red and green sauces were both excellent. The first Chili Relleno I had for a long time when I could taste the egg. Sopaipilla was an additional treatment to finish the meal. Excellent!
This is our first time in New Mexico. Driving through Tucson Arizona we decided to stay for two nights and Jerry was highly recommended. We went there at 1830 on a Wednesday evening and had a slight wait we were glad to see it so full with so many places fighting these days! We were a family of 4 and had to wait about 15 minutes. If you were a pair, you have faster than it seemed more tables for 2 than 4. We didn't notice the waiting because we could talk to some people waiting for their food. They all shaved about the food and are very often there. They always say the best place to eat is where the locals do and they were right. After we heard from some males how great the food was, what to order and some history on the gallup area we sat We had the following dishes; Chicken enchiladas, chicken sandwich, Jerry's stuffed sopaipilla and chicken taquitos. The service was very fast as soon as we sat and it seemed like the food just went out. Many employees have checked us to make sure we didn't need anything. Very friendly staff. We would highly recommend eating here, even if there is a waiting period!
