Hey Mikey's Ice Cream - Galveston

This place is pretty good. The line is pretty long and the service was on the slower side, but the staff was friendly and there was more than enough seating. There aren't really any basic flavors like vanilla or plain chocolate, so if that's your thing maybe try somewhere else. The portions are a really great size and they do offer samples. I wasn't blown away by the ice cream or the brownie (I got a sundae), but it was still pretty good.

Best ice cream on the island! The staff here is always friendly and welcoming and the homemade ice cream is absolutely heavenly. I would eat here every day if I could!! If you haven?t tried the egg nog ice cream, you?re missing out.

This ice cream was delicious! We split the ice cream nachos. I'd seen the picture online the night before and knew I needed to have that! Delicious ice cream choices and plenty of topping choices as well. Their homemade whipped cream was super delicious. I'd order this again as a treat, but not regularly, since it is so many calories ??

I surprised my husband with ice cream from Hey Mikey's at his pool party last weekend. They delivered it right to our home, making the entire process incredibly easy! We sampled a variety of flavors: key lime pie, pineapple cheesecake, winter storm, and the ice cream sandwiches. The flavors were absolutely delicious, and everyone kept asking, “Where did you get this? It’s so good!”

The ice cream and floats were absolutely delicious! I really appreciated that they offered a small cup specifically for kids for only $3. I wish more ice cream shops would adopt this idea! The kids had a great time with their tiny cups and didn't make a mess, which I loved!
