Rum Shack - Galveston

Drinks were very tasty and eating was great. the personal was the best!

Very cool view overlooking the ocean, but the mojitos were some of the worst I ever had. Had high hopes of getting a few but after my friend and I got a classic and a passionfruit, we were ready to leave. Too sweet and not enough complimenting flavors.

Friendly servers but slow service on food and food was good.

Not impressed at all. There was no happy hour due to Covid. Whatever….. Everywhere else in Galveston has one. 2 weak drinks and chips for $28. Waste of money. Bartender was slow as Christmas too and it was not busy. Went directly to this place in downtown Riondo’s. Awesome place with a great happy hour. Food and drinks. I had 3 well drinks here verse one weak drink at the Rum Shack.

Low key place, great drinks that you roasted. You have a smoke section and a reasonable price-performance ratio. The environment is tropical island cozy mixed with club atmosphere. The service is tactical with smiles on their faces. Let's not forget the great music/dj on Saturday night.
