Dillisk - Galway

Great seafood cahowder and perfectly cooked fish and chips, what more do they need to lunch? it is worth visiting when close. the only parking lot is a little challenging if they do not want to pay for nearby parking lot €2.20)

After a fun day of sightseeing on St. Stephen’s Day in Galway, my family was famished and looking for a cozy, delicious, and quiet dinner. We found ourselves at the Dillisk and it was exactly what we needed. The host, Cyprian, was more than gracious getting us in. The wait staff were attentive. The cocktails amazing. And all of our dinners were perfectly prepared —curries, roast chicken, mussels, calamari, and Bailey’s infused cheesecake to finish it off. We left fully restored and ready to do it all again.

I ordered the ploughman ham and cheese toasted sandwich, I am quite a fussy eater so I needed some changes from the menu description and it was no problem at all. 5 stars.

Spacious space with very detailed service. Not too crowded but still close by downtown. We had a birthday dinner with my friend. Seafood was great, duck breast could have been softer.

We ate dinner and breakfast here. Loved the food, loved the drinks but most of all loved the friendly service. Try the monkfish and prawn curry!
