Blessed! I pass by every time I'm in Ghent. Sitting comfortably! Enjoying a coffee and all the goodies!

We were attracted by the window and cosy seating area and made our way into here. Chocolates were as expected from Belgium and coffee was ok. What we found a bit weird was that taking photo of the chocolates by the glass was forbidden. Good that we asked for permission but these not much logical rules are changing the experience in a place.. Probably they don’t have much growth/future mindset because online reviews and pictures will change the future of food service.. When I read the other comments, I feel that we supported a business that is actually not that friendly and nice..

I came to this store with my husband. We asked for a small bag of chocolate, the waitress kept asking if we would like some extra because there was still room. In the end she turned the bag right into a box and charged us more than twice the price of what we were planning to do. We felt put on the spot and indicated that we did not like it at all. At the very least, the waitress should have warned us that the price would no longer be that of a small bag. Far from it, the waitress blamed us (with an unfriendly tone) that we should have estimated that the amount of chocolate would be more than 300gr. Then we left the store without paying but also without chocolate. I thought it was unpleasant customer service.

Beautiful shop with a large and varied range of chocolate and dried dried fruits and nut blends. Staff takes the time to explain the products upon request.
