Shilla - Gardena

We easily found seating at this restaurant on a Friday afternoon at 5pm for a group of 4. Our server was polite and took excellent care of us. The food was outstanding - we ordered the beef combo and were not disappointed. The meat was juicy and full of flavor, especially the bulgogi. Overall, a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend to any barbecue enthusiast.

The food and service at this restaurant were average, but the prices were much too high for what we received. What really bothered me was that despite there only being two of us, we were pressured to leave a tip after receiving a bill of nearly $300. The staff even followed us to the parking lot, which was completely uncalled for. I had intended to leave a tip, but the way it was demanded left a bad taste in my mouth. I hope the owner addresses this issue, as it may explain why the restaurant was so empty during our visit.

Avoid this restaurant at all costs! It is not an all-you-can-eat option, and the staff becomes angry when you request additional rice paper. They tried to charge me $4 for extra rice paper, and I ended up spending $85 for just three pieces of meat with very small portions. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this place.

Considering the price to quality ratio, this is one of my least liked kbbq I've been to. The food wasn't horrible, it's actually better than many AYCE kbbq places, but the price didn't make it worth it. (I only tried the beef selections) The sidedishes on the other hand missing a lot of my favorites, and many were bland. The dining area is nice and spacious. Even ifthe place was packed, it wouldn't seem as crowded as other places. Probably the and only good thing about this place. Servicewas way under staffed. Considering there's so many other choices for kbbq in the area, I would be hard pressed to choose thisplace to eat again. Maybe some of the other meats would be better.... I don't think I'll ever find out.

Good service but portion is ridiculously small for its price. I mean really small. This was not Kobe or Wagyu, it was just pork. This was the $100 pork combo with few thin slices on the grill already. Two of us weren?t even half full I?d just gosomewhere else for this price tbh. You can get this amount meat quality for around $10 from Hmart. Never going back.
