3 Amigos - Gatineau

A few weeks after the opening of this restaurant, we decided my wife and I to go to dinner at this new Mexican restaurant because we love these dishes. When we arrived, we waited for more than 10 minutes for a server/closing. Finally, a person came to see us and installed us at the restaurant bar. the bartender seemed so busy that after another 20 minutes, we had not even had a simple glass of water or even a "I'm yours in a few moments." we looked at the menu to see the exorbitant prices and the little real choice. I speak Spanish and in this kind of restaurant I expect to be able to practice this beautiful language a little. no server seems to be Spanish (or does not seem to be of Latin origin.) we finally left the place without being served and without the soles concerned. the restaurant is now closed for several months. Not surprising.

Food is ok, nothing to add. However, there's a large variety of drinks and desserts. I'll be back just for that !

I was a Montrealer and I was very disappointed with food and service. A little more time to improve can be.

Our most recent experience at 3 Amigos before they closed was terrible. Our server gave us regular Pepsi instead of diet, which could have been dangerous for me as a diabetic. The servers were confused and brought the wrong dishes to the wrong tables. It's no surprise they closed after just a few months. Despite our love for Mexican food and willingness to give second chances, we were disappointed to see no improvement when we returned after their reopening. Prices had gone up by $2, portions were smaller, and service was still chaotic. Our dishes were served to other customers before reaching us, and were missing key ingredients as listed on the menu. While the decor was nice and the flavors were good, there is a lot of room for improvement. It's unfortunate that this is the only Mexican restaurant in Gatineau, but I predict they won't last much longer. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this place.
