Bay View Bar and Grill - Geelong

Over an hour for food to come and it was taken to wrong table, chicken was like it was cardboard.. not realy the staffs fault but the cook needs to look at things there...

Quick lunch at waterfront , the salt&pepper squid cooked nice and fresh and crunchy , I will rated as best of salt & pepper squid so far will come back again for this Oh the staff was fatalistic she is gorgeous

Dined with five friends after finding this place in the entertainment book , well turns out it's another restaurant but when you book they say they are the waterfront ..... anyway the waiter very limited English ( that should have rung alarm bells) almost as we sit down tried to sell us a $43 bottle of wine (more on this to come) we declined and ordered off the menu we all had starter and main the food was just reheated and served to be honest we have had worse but not for a long time . The wine we had "two churches shaiz was great . The bill came we presented our entertainment cards and about this time the fun starts . Firstly they didn't know how much to discount the boss is not onsite so I had to explain the rules over the phone . At this time two licence inspectors enter and ask if we were served alcohol as the place doesn't have a licence so I give my name in case it's needs in court they take picks of out receipt and as if by magic the boss arrives....... we had an adventure . Oh no Deseret menu at all . I wouldn't bother if I were you .

Located in Geelong with Bay views. The menu seems a little confused with a mixture of cuisines from Asian to typically Australian cafe style.Was greeted by a friendly employee, however clearly had a poor understanding of English.Placed our entree orders and was surprised when the food came out as mains.However the food is good quality and the pricing is reasonable given the location.
