I stumbled upon a great spot at the roundabout in Cierp Gaudy. It's the perfect pit stop for cyclists exploring the Pyrenees and craving pizza or carb-loaded meals.
We opted for takeout from Rook since we were short on time for a sit-down meal during our visit to Geelong. We ordered lump rice and snacks to enjoy on the go, and they were delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. I look forward to returning for a proper dine-in experience next time to try the Kothu and Hoppers.
We ate here recently to celebrate a family member's birthday. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful as we were unfamiliar with Sri Lankan food. We all enjoyed our entrees which included fish cakes, chicken rotv and lentil patties. The main courses included hoppers which are basket type creations with egg and came with a curry, sambal and other accompaniments. Delicious and spicy rather than too hot although dishes can be adapted to taste. The desserts included a Nutella hopper and a yogurt based dish with treacle. As it was a special "foodie" event we had three courses for $30 which we considered to be great value. Rook is BYO and only charge $2 per person for corkage. We all had a great night out and enjoyed our Rook experience.
Looking for vegan/vegetarian option in Geelong and found this place. Lovely clean restaurant, decor was warm and inviting and staff were lovely. Food was very tasty and wholesome. Feels like the food is cooked with love and care and we all enjoyed our meals. Will visit again :)
