This is my favorite spot at GVA. I have been through this airport enough times for work, weekend trips, and flights to and from the states that I now have a routine: print boarding pass at home, catch a direct bus or train from work or town, breeze through security in 10-15min, and head straight to this bistrot for a spritz or brewsky in the 45min before my gate posting. One of the best things about GVA is how quickly you can breeze in and out of it, but I find myself consistently arriving a few minutes early to grab a quick drink and bite and catch up on emails at this little bistrot. Tucked away in the southern most corner of the airport (turning left after passing security and heading straight to the end of the building) is the Bistrot Aeroport. The space is open, with lots of tables and seating, including raised bench/bar seating with plugs for laptops. Factor in the mainly self-serve food options along the perimeter and the bar with 2-3 bartenders in the middle of the room and I've found my airport mecca. Perfect place for a spritz and salad or quiche before a flight. I can attest for both the food and drinks. The only downside is that service can be a bit on the slow side, and there is only one departure display in the bistrot- so keep your eye on the clock and plan accordingly!
Not great. Food was fairly tasteless and wouldn’t give us any tap water for our 1 year old. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
