Avaliação da contribuiçãoReally good quality, unpretentious and authentic Mexican food. Small and simple menu but what they do, they do well! Pork pibil tacos particularly tasty!
This is by far the best Mexican food in Geneva, in a really pleasant location. Not to miss their great cocktails with Mescal either!
My boyfriend and I were lucky enough to discover Taco Toots when we were poking around Geneva and saw a complex of shops and restaurants on a concrete island in the Rhône. Taco Toots immediately caught our attention because it has such a nice outside seating area, with colourful string lights and wooden benches covered in (soft) artificial grass. I'm glad that we were hungry because we decided to stop for lunch, and the vegetarian tacos I ordered are the best I've ever eaten. My boyfriend was equally pleased with the chicken and pork tacos he ate. We asked for the platter of four tacos which comes with tortilla chips and dip, and this was the perfect amount to eat as we left satisfied without feeling bloated. The proprietor served us and was very charming. He speaks English fluently and was happy to chat, but I'm sure he wouldn't hover over you if you'd prefer to be left alone. His colleagues were also very friendly, with winning smiles. All in all, I had a great experience at Taco Toots; I only wish it was local so that I could go again soon.
I had a great time here. The food was amazing. The service was amazing! It started to rain and they brought out large umbrellas for us and then cleaned the water off the tables. It was just an overall great experience (minus the rain...not their fault). These were also the best vegetarian tacos I've ever had.
Riverfront, sunshine, reclining chairs, great tacos, and good craft beer. We stumbled onto this restaurant sharing space with a bar at Halles de l'Ile on a Saturday afternoon. Order your beer and tacos at the bar, and go grab good spot on the Rhône.And what a rare treat to find excellent tacos in Switzerland. This isn't a chain restaurant, and you can tell the food is home made. Its a perfect place to relax right in the middle of the city. The river mutes the sound of traffic, and the pedestrian zone means the cars and buses are kept far away.
