Went there 9/02/23 and had the $37 charcuterie board, the blackberry crumble, and one empress gin cocktail. The board was to come with two meat, two cheese, and an assortment of nuts and fresh fruit. When it arrived, we were surprised by the tiny quantity and asked for them to bring us the second meat which was absent the plate. They did and when the waitress (1) brought it we said thank you and then made a comment that the board would be perfect if it had been half the price. She walked away only saying, “I’ll send the manager.” Waitress (2) then came out and accused me of offending waitress (1). “Whatever you said to her upset her.” Me: “Perhaps she is sensitive.” Her: “No. She is awesome.” At that point we left because I didn’t say anything offensive to waitress one and in fact was offended at being accused of being untoward or rude. I was not. The fact remains: the food, while good, is over priced. The empress gin cocktail was not good. We didn’t get to try the crumble as my father wanted to leave immediately after the waitress (2) exchange with me. Music was nice. Setting was nice. But I’m a local and will never ever step foot there again. I’m heated. Oh, the bill? $70 with a $14 tip so $84 for a small plate with a side of abuse. She did not deserve the tip at all but we are not monsters. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5
The location is very nice but the music was so loud we couldn 't hear each other speak. The owner said that turning the music down was not possible which made the birthday gathering strained. The one bathroom had no lock for the door. Won 't go there again, as she obviously doesn 't care for her customers. Not sure why two musicians trump a table of six, but her attitude definitely conveyed her disdain for our having traveled so far to recapture the prior owner 's warm hospitality... The Pink House 's rebirth is definitely a failure. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1
Did not enjoy my experience. Would rather go to Genoa saloon. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Arrived today, excited to try for the first time. The patio was decently busy, there was nobody waiting when we arrived and a few empty tables. We were told within minutes of being seated that they needed to hold off on taking our order because the kitchen was backed up. Understood. About 20 minutes late the young man comes to take our order. About 50 minutes after that we got our salads. We waited. And waited. And waited for the rest of our food. We watched a few other tables down on the patio get their orders, while we still waited. Our server walked up and he asked us if he could get us our tab... we literally hadn 't even eaten yet. We told him that our food hadn 't even arrived yet, and he said what? You haven 't eaten yet? . You 're our server... how do you not know that we haven 't eaten yet? He then disappeared and never came back to our table. My mom decided after we had been waiting for TWO HOURS AND FIFTEEN MINUTES, that she was going to go inside and ask what was going on. We are still unsure but she canceled our order. By this point we were starving and so disappointed. Our server came back, gave us our tab for our salad and drink and acted like nothing happened. The kitchen (observed while waiting in line for the restroom) was an absolute disaster. There 's a serious need for some good management here. I 'm honestly baffled by this. Every bit of it. The fact that there was NO apology, no acknowledgment of what happened.... Why the heck did we even have to pay for the wilted salads we got? I 'm just so stinkin disappointed, honestly unacceptable in so many ways. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: $10–20
We enjoy bringing family and friends to the Pink House for a unique dining experience. The food is always delicious and they often have special desserts like bread pudding. The staff have always been friendly and welcoming. We will be back.
