What The Duck - George Town

Amazing duck jam served with exactly cooked vegetables, and large spices on the plate. My duck slept in the mouth tenderly with a delicious ju. The plate was decorated with balsamic syrup and fried garlic. The Balsamico added a beautiful touch to the duck. My friends had different plates of grilled duck breast that they also enjoyed. The restaurant is playfully decorated with duck painting on the wall and duck ceramic.

If you like your duck, this is the place to go. I was here two weeks ago and had the best duck ever. Easy crunchy and lots of meat with very little fat. The flavors were amazing. My wife is not, or should I say, not a duck fan, but she is now. It was really fantastic especially for the price. The decor can see some improvement, but your duck makes you forget all that. And the dessert just chased the cake!

Handicrafts for ducks? This is the place they live to be their reputation. I have tried both outlets (Nagore Square and Spice Canopy, and I have to praise the efforts of its administration and staff to comply with the same standards for both outlets. I have chosen the mushroom soup as an appetizer, this dish could be further improved as it lacks certain quality / ingredients that I seek. Next to the main course, I chose warm smoked duck breast. It comes in a large part (yay big eaters!, the meat is tender, juicy and adorning of it just cut through. With its homemade mash and salad, wonderful main course! Of course I have tried other items on their menu (I have no pictures for it, but would highly recommend for their duck confit, duck confit spaghetti, duck magret and brownies.

Excellent culinary experience with good food, very attentive and friendly staff, very reasonable price. I like the salted duck egg cheesecake, pumpkin soup is just right, duck jam is good with crispy skin and delicate meat.

We had two dishes from the lunch set selections. Duck Confit was on a dry side. I like it moist and tender. The lamb shank was very tender and well stewed, but lacked saltiness. The flavor of the accompanied gravy was too light. The pumpkin soup was just alright. Considering it was a lunch set and the price was very reasonable, I give 4 stars. The service and the speed of the serving were very good and fast.
