Local Eat Drink Celebrate

For the second time visiting Pawleys Island, we dined at Local. What an amazing dining experience! From the start of our evening, we had the most awesome wait staff. She shared news that a new chef by the name of Ruben would be preparing our meal. Ruben was recently on an episode of Chopped and we were delighted to have him cook for us! The entire experience was outstanding. Our meal was amazing- the best filet I’ve ever had! From drinks appetizers to our entrees desert, it was truly an excellent dining experience! Ruben and the owner of Local even popped out of the kitchen to check on us, which was really nice. Will come back vacation after vacation! Thank you!

Hands-down best French onion soup I've ever had. My husband and I make this a must-stop every time we visit Myrtle Beach. A very friendly atmosphere and attentive servers and employees make this one of THE best restaurants. Everything we've ever ordered has been excellent! A diamond in the rough at Pawleys Island. Feels like a tourist trap. The she crab soup was too creamy and greasy. Breakfast was not good, very bland. Whatever they cook in is bad. Made both of us sick. I don't recommend unless you're a tourist and can't find anywhere else to go.
