I was walking on the main street an couldn't find Bierstadt Beans, we asked someone where it was and they said it was the shop with the sign Brewed Grounds in the front, however at the back entrance there is a sign that says the listed name, so not sure what's going on. They had a bunch of different choices of latte's, I got the standard, and she got the cookie dough latte. I got the 20 ounce which has three shots of espresso, even though it had three it was still pretty weak. I tasted the cookie dough, it wasn't to my liking because it was really sweet but I imagine it wouldn't be that bad for someone who likes sweet lattes. I would recommend this place but I would also want to try out the other coffee shops in the little town there are a few.
I created a Yelp account just so I could review this awesome spot. We ended up here after I-70 was closed during a storm. We ordered 2 mochas, a cinnamon roll, and an especially delicious hot chocolate. All were tasty. What blew us away though was the customer service. We hoped that our stay here would be short because we wanted to continue our drive. We checked the CDOT app constantly, hoping I-70 had reopened. However, we ended up at Bierstadt 's for 3 hours! I can 't believe how friendly they were. They even stayed open late so that we could hang out until the road reopened. We had our toddler with us so there was potential for that to be the worst 3 hours of our lives. However, the clerks gave him toys to play with and talked to him and let us set up camp in their upstairs area. He went up and down the stairs a zillion times and was just met with smiles and friendly words from the ladies there. It was such a relaxed environment and they had a lot of great books, including ones they let me just read with my son. I can 't imagine what this scenario would have been like had we been anywhere else; I don 't even want to! Thank you for taking care of us!
I stumbled over this gem of a book store while in town recently for the Hot Rod Hill Climb. The merchants of Georgetown let us take over this little hamlet for a w/end and we filled it up with hot rods, classic cars and lots of people. All I wanted was something sweet to eat and a glass of milk. (I don't drink coffee). The kind lady clerk (sorry I don't know your name) fixed me right up with a yummy orange cranberry scone and even a glass of milk. I was really tired from walking all around and she fixed me up on the back porch was a cushy chair and I was able to relax and recoup. Unfortunately I didn't get to browse the stacks but it looked like one of the fun places to spend a quiet afternoon. Big thanks to Bierstadt and all the other merchants that made us feel so welcome in Georgetown, Colorado. You have a special town and should be proud of it!
