Blue Star Cafe - Gibson City

The food I had was enjoyable and our waitress was very attentive. I would recommend it!

My daughter had an appointment in Gibson City that we were early for. I looked for a diner online and found this place. It was a little hard to find. They do not have proper sineage by the street. They have a sign on their side door. It's a little confusing and was frustrated to drive past it a couple times. Just want you guys to know if you're driving around looking for it. When we got in we were greeted by the kindest waitstaff. They let us pick a table. There was ample seating and not too busy. I only had $10 to buy my daughter (6y) lunch. It was easily done. She got a hotdogs, fries, and sprite for just under $7.00. It was plenty enough. The waitress was very kind when I declined a drink and meal and brought me some water. My daughter said they were the best fries she's ever had and the hotdog was good as well. The meal came quickly. All in all I would recommend and we will be coming back as a family next time we are all in the area. You should go too! Just remember to pull into the side parking lot to find the door(;

We went here for lunch after church service. The food was good and the service was also. There is also a lot to choose from on the menu. We were all to sit together and have a meal and enjoy ourselves. We all got good and service. I am sure we will be back again.

This is a small place in a small town. If you did not know it was there you wouild drive past is as there is no sign. 2 rooms with basic tables. Service was nice and friendly. At the time we went they were offering breakfast and lunch menu. Our table had food from both menus. I felt my has browns were crispy on the outside but the actual potato was undercooked. Eggs were cooked well and there was plenty of bacon on the 2 egg breakfast. Nice choice of toast options. The lower score was really due to the toilet situation. Neither the mens nor the ladys toilets were working properly. The mens was blocked and they went in the ladies then one of the ladies went to the ladies toilets and they were so bad that she left without using them. I always think that a clean toilets clean kitchen. It may have been a one off but was offputting but of course we had already ordered and eaten by the time we discovered this
