Avaliação da contribuiçãoBased on my experience primarily in California's agricultural heartland, USA, this farmers' market is not truly reflective of its name.
This restaurant offers fresh produce from the UBC farm in a small but fantastic market setting.
If you are looking to purchase some of the freshest locally grown vegetables, herbs, and fruits, you can do so at this restaurant.
Check out the review on Persephone for more details. This is a limited menu, but each of the dishes were very, very good. Ingredients are mainly house-made, and the greens and edible flowers are picked from just outside the window.
We had pork belly tacos and pizza. Both were delicious, but at over $30 for both items, we found it rather expensive. The pork belly tacos were a bit disappointing as we were expecting the crackling, but it was just the meat and some fat. Flavour was good though, as there was some heat and a tasty vinaigrette that cut through the fat. Pizza from a stone oven...amazing. You have to try it!
