Justus im Hessischen Hof - Gießen

On 19.01.2017 the dishes were served lukewarm. The red herb so mad and so firm we got Sodburns. the raw lumps were not through either. After the complaint and freshly served dishes, also cold pieces of meat on the plate. The carving was of gray color, very thin and thus also very close to it.

We were very happy. Nice service and delicious food in a great ambience. The restaurant was well filled and we didn't have to wait long for our food. Everyone found something in the menu. The Kaiserschmarrn was fluffy and very tasty. Delicious. Hackbraten Bellschuh delicious. Rumpsteak as ordered and delicious. Pumpkin soup delicious, nice with core oil and roasted cores. Cheese and delicious. Beef roast with horseradish delicious. Thanks for the nice evening we come back...

Mama Schmidt has the best carving in Gießen. It should be undisputed. Here you have real restaurant atmosphere. This is also the reason why you often meet handball and cones. In any case, the Schnitzel top, the prices (also in terms of drinks) are reasonable and the operation is also top. Also the location is super; almost centrally located in Gießen and no 5min to the station.
