Avaliação da contribuiçãoBarrio Queen is a must-visit spot in Downtown Gilbert. They offer an excellent selection of Sonoran Mexican cuisine. I was impressed with their Arizona burrito, which was filled with tender and flavorful pork. The tacos here are also fantastic, with a wide range of options to choose from. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in a Sonoran theme and has a modern look. It's a great local spot for authentic Mexican food. Don't hesitate to give this place a try.
First off, our bartender was fantastic - friendly, enthusiastic, and our drinks were perfect. However, when it came to the food, things went downhill. The enchiladas had no chicken in them, and were folded so tightly in an attempt to hide the lack of filling. When I cut them open, I found no meat, cheese, or anything inside. The carnitas my wife ordered had meat, but lacked any flavor. The guacamole was good though, and my wife appreciated the extra pomegranate for dipping. While I try to be fair in my reviews, this restaurant missed the mark. To top it off, the bill was outrageously high - $100 for a meal that was not worth even $50 with tip. Needless to say, we won't be returning to finish Tequila week here.
The server was polite but after serving our meal, we never saw him again! We had to finally walk to the front of the restaurant just to get someone to give us our check. The food was “OK”. The chips were thick and old tasting. The berria taco was enough for two bites but the flavor was good. My shrimp taco was piled high with filler veggies and pico that was covering just 2 little shrimp! They should have called it a veggie taco! Definitely not worth the money and won’t be going back.
Brandon was our server and did an outstanding job and understood our needs before hand.
It was hot . The food was not as expected. Not enough meat in the enchiladas. The service was okay. It was hard to get waitress attention
