Walking - Gilmer

Moving into the neighborhood and wanted to take my friend who helped me with a 1400 mile to an amazing Texas scale. Wasn't disappointed. My husband and I have the ribs and my friend had the Sirloin. Steaks were cooked to complete perfection and every bite melts in your mouth. Prices are very cheap for a steak house. The service was great. The self-service salad bar had a lot of nice choices and the coconut cake was made 100% home authentic by someone who really knows what to do with a cake chest. Unfortunately no one else had room to taste dessert, but the cheese cake looked good too! 5 Start for quality, service, ambience and value. (Side Note; the window in the dining room that looks at the cattle pasture across the street: Although very stoney, is indeed not a Texas-lobster tank. You cannot choose your steak ;D)

This family-run restaurant must stop for those on the way to Lake Gilmer. Just a way out. With live music you're home away from home. Just sit back and enjoy. The staff is super friendly and attentive to your needs.

Got an order to go and brought it home and the steaks where amazing! So much food and the roles, where scary. Thank you for making our Saturday evening great at home.
