Restaurant De La Barillette - Gingins

I've been to this restaurant several times, the latest one yesterday. We've always been very warmly welcomed. The food is delicious and the view magnificent. What a nice spot to escape the heat of Geneva for a few hours. Highly recommend.

Wow!!!! What a gem! This place is amazing for lunch after a walk in it’s beautiful surroundings and has the most gorgeous terrace with best views on lake Geneva (the entire lake!!! and the French alps. Food is good with a nice menu (salad, sausage, cheese fondue, entrecôte , good children’s menus (theee choices . Also lovely for an apero or coffe and cake. Kids can walk around while waiting for the lunch and have a blast. Do book ahead and visit in good weather when views are good and you can sit on the terrace for the maximum experience!

Interesting menu and desserts; a view of the lake, Geneva and the Alps with Mont Blanc is simply impressive!

Very nice restaurant with a magnificent view! The staff were very nice and we ate really well. The only downside was that we were served too quickly, we didn't even have time to finish drinking the aperitif and eat our platter as the dishes were already served to us.

The reputation is well established
