Number 16 Restaurant - Glasgow

Intimate restaurant and atmosphere. great personal service by lindsay. not a big but well-respected and interesting menu of food and wine. we shared the excellent tomato and gazphacio-soup creation with Burrata cheese. my partner had the perfectly boiled Scottish steak and I had the chickpeas bearing with aubergine, surgeon, toastrotpfeffer and beat hazelnut. all were very, very good. we shared an excellent roasted cauliflower rub side. for dessert we shared a pistachio sponge with goat cheese and spiced circus and cherry sorbet. it was light and tasteful. we enjoyed the French rose very much; for quality, reasonable price. great meal, service and atmosphere. highly recommended.

We had here an amazing meal on our last trip to glasgow, there were 6 of us, the service was excellent, the food was very delicious. we all had appetizers, most of our party had the monk and said it was nice, I myself had the striploin of the bark that was cooked to perfection, it was just the kind I like it, medium rare, it just melted in my mouth. I was greedy and had a gloomy, can not remember what it was called, but it was Turkish joy, jelly, pistachio nougat, chocolate ice cream and there was something else, but can not remember what it was, I have a very sweet tooth and it was amazing, it was one of the best gloomy I had in a long time. the server that we would not have helpful, thank you for a nice evening, and next time I am in glasgow we will be back.

We had a big party and booked up. the personal was the perfect filling of water, refilling wine, knew who ordered what etc. the eating was really impressive. the menu had a great variety for all nutritional requirements. I had the salmon starter, the salmon was perfectly cooked and melted in the mouth. I also had the seabread as head. both had fantastic complex compromises. also I was very happy with the cost, I thought it was very reasonable price. I recommend this place and go back.

Great food and great service! maybe a little on the pricier side, but this goes hand in hand with fine eating and great eating. the service was really nice; many fine restaurants can be a little cold or robotic, but here were the staff really friendly and nice. eating was well served, well done, and around a nice experience. will surely go back.

Only been there once a few years ago but the food was delicious. Waiting to revisit Glasgow so I can go back for a meal here. Highly recommended!
