Fantastic experience all round. Having been badly let down by a different restaurant we turned up as a party of 12 last minute. The Maitre D could not have been more accommodating. He made a fuss of us despite us not booking. The food was excellent and the team could not have done anything more. We asked the Maitre D to choose the dishes which is a really good idea with a big party. Plate after plate of lovely anti pasta and then pizza and pasta to follow. Cannot recommend these guys enough.

Some of the worst service I’ve ever had. Even accounting for the fact the restaurant was busy and we had a large group, the standard was dreadful. 20 mins after being seated, had to find a waiter and ask if we could order drinks. 20 mins later, had to find a waiter again and ask where our drinks were and could we order food. 30 mins later, had to ask when our starters would be served, 30 mins after that, had to ask when our mains would be served. At this point, asked to speak to the manager, who apologised and offered some free drinks, only after we asked for it. When the bill arrived they had charged us for additional desserts so we had to get the bill amended. The food was ok, but at £30 for 2 courses I’d say it was overpriced. Instead of enjoying time with family the evening was focused on the delays and lack of service. I wouldn’t go back

Went as a party of six on a Saturday night. Stood in the rain for ten minutes despite having booked. Then waited 45 minutes for a drink and a chance to order food. The menu is a confusing mix of starters, tapas and mains. Four of us ordered starters, five ordered mains and one ordered 2 tapas as mains. Another 50 mins later, all the food arrived at once. Yes, the menu even confuses the waiters. The food was ok without being in any way exceptional. Bit overpriced but not as much as the drinks. But the service really was poor. As well as a full restaurant, they were favouring takeaway dinners too. I certainly wouldn't go back.

Absolutely delicious. Wonderfully friendly staff and really good atmosphere. Definitely recommend. Had the Italian beef stew

A proper italian restaurant. Food and service how it should be. The manager is the life and soul of the restaurant. Also our young lady server was amazing. The food was delicious. The surf and turf was the highlight. The mussels, pasta and pizza also top notch. Tastiest pizza dough in town. Saw a few negatives reviews over Xmas period and I’m glad i ignored them. Try this place it’s really authentic Italian Not cheap but would definitely return
