Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe restaurant was busy, but the waitress was able to accommodate us. The food was delicious and the service from attentive and skilled staff members was excellent.
I was expecting classic Vietnamese cuisine, but I would describe this as more of an Asian fusion restaurant. While the food was mostly good, it wasn't exactly my taste. The Caramel Pork Belly was cooked well, but at $44 for a dish meant for two people, I found it to be a bit expensive for what seemed like a lower quality cut of meat. In my three years in Southeast Asia, the best pork I had was fried. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and attentive. Our meal, which included an entree, two drinks (one soft drink), two entrees, and no dessert, came out to $114. My wife enjoyed the meal more than I did.
Expected more. We had not requested MSG, but I couldn't sleep all night after broth and rice paper rolls. Maybe it was salted... not really safe. I liked the menu, but not the after-effect.
The vegetarian spring rolls and special vegan sauce are wonderful. Lemongrass beef and pasta dishes also beautiful. The takeaway service is also excellent, very slim and reliable. We have eaten our way through the menu, could be time to add some new dishes as the menu has been the same for a while.
On arrival we were greeted warmly and offered a table inside or out. The menu provides a wide range of tasty dishes, small and large. We enjoyed vermicelli noodles with crispy pork fresh and vibrant in flavours and rice paper rolls. Went down well with a local brew.
