I absolutely love Portone Pizza! It has quickly become my go-to pizza spot in St Kilda. The wood-fired pizzas they serve are simply divine. The crust is perfectly crisp, and the flavours are out of this world. What sets Portone Pizza apart from other pizzerias is the occasional live performances they host. The staff at Portone Pizza are incredibly friendly and welcoming. When it comes to their pizzas, I have two all-time favourites that I can't recommend enough. The Carne Pizza is a carnivore's dream come true. The combination of perfectly seasoned meats creates an explosion of flavours in every bite. And then there's the Salumi Pizza, which showcases a selection of Italian cured meats that perfectly complement the wood-fired crust. Nice local place for wood fired pizza. Visited on a weekday night and the place was full • Make a booking in advance if possible. • Layer up your clothes if you are visiting in cold weather. There is no in door dining area. Only outside sitting in with a heater. • Tried vegetarian pizza, rose wine, shared pear salad. They were all yummy. • I was gonna order chicken wings and bread too lol I was glad I didn't. The pizza itself was enough for me.
