The Big Bend Cafe - Golden

Had breakfast here with my boyfriend this morning and it was incredible. I got the porky Benny with strip bacon and was BLOWN away. The hash browns were delicious as well. Love the small town atmosphere of this cafe and felt very welcomed!

The food herre used to be my favorite as I've been coming for years. My last trip the hashbrowns were undercooked but I will toss it up to a bad day. The eggs Benny comes on a sweet multigrain bagel which isn't really my thing, it should be softer and savory, but that's just my opinion.

We came here on a rainy day when visiting golden, it was very busy, and when good arrived you could see why. The food was great, huge portions and tasted amazing. We had the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and french toast with egg and pancakes. Would definitely recommend visiting for breakfast/brunch.

Went there for breakfast Sunday Sept 17, 2023. Were seated at the last available table. Waitress brought coffee. That was the last we saw of her for 20 minutes. No order taken. We walked out.

The place has lots of character. I love all the signs. The staff were super friendly. One small issue was the place could use a little TLC. Some dusting and just a bit cleaner bathroom.
