Avaliação da contribuiçãoLovely staff and yummy, affordable food. My favourite is the lemongrass chicken banh mi. The place is always busy around lunchtime, which is a good sign given it's close proximity to the popular red door cafe.
My worst dining fear happened here - I managed to spill almost a complete bowl of fish sauce all over myself. While great on food, fish sauce isn't the greatest of fragrances to wear. Thankfully this accident happened just after I had finished my wonderful meal and the staff were incredibly understanding. It's unfortunate though this place hasn't garnered any reviews yet. Not many places in Adelaide do a good banh xeo or Vietnamese pancake (it's the yellow dish in the gallery) - even fewer make banh cuon or Vietnamese rice crepe, let alone it being any good. This place does both and does them well. It also does pretty good Vietnamese bread rolls too. Evidently the only thing it doesn't do well is self promotion. Do yourself a favour and check this place out on a lunch break. Yes I know, Red Door Bakery is so close by, but try something different for lunch!
Lovely fresh flavours at very reasonable prices. Pretty basic fitout and friendly service. Pity they're not open for dinner. Will be back for lunch.
