Had some really lovely food in this Cafe. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. Most accommodating for children and their specific needs.
We visited this place for the second time last week. The first visit was a year or so ago for coffees and had to wait a long time to be both served and receive drinks. We had since heard good reports so decided to return to try it again. I am sorry to say that the wait times had not improved. Whilst most tables were occupied when we arrived, many were finishing their meals and indeed had left long before ours were brought to the table. We only ordered paninis which should hardly challenge the kitchen staff. Whilst they were perfectly acceptable, we will not be returning to face another wait.
We come to Gorron a few times a year and we across this wonderful place, Amanda was so lovely her food is so scrummy and very good value for money, there is a lovely mix of english and french and the host speaks both so you dont have to struggle. There is a lovely choice on the menu and some rather lovely cakes for afters.
Very pleasant place to go for lunch. Most recent visit was today. Had a dish of poached salmon, smoked salmon and crevettes with a large mixed salad. Substantial main course and flavoursome. My partner had the house burger which he says was very good indeed. This was our second visit to the cafe whilst in Gorron and will be happy to go back again. No hesitation in recommending this cafe.
