Food For Thought Catering - Grand Manan

Great eating great staff! very friendly, best place to go on the island, whether it was only for coffee, baked (which are the best food!

I actually squeezed out loud when I realized that they were open again for the season. hands down the best place to take a bite to eat on the island!

I go to this grocery store every week and do my food shopping, its overall a good store and has lots of products!

Normally, I'd say 4 stars for being a good grocery store with decent prices, but the cashier I had at this one was not at all friendly.

As you drive down the island you could easily miss Food for Thought, but that would be a shame. Apparently, they began as a catering business and branched out to provide simple, delicious lunches during the busy season. The location is a house, the food...is prepared freshly, in front of you (if you wish), the staff are very welcoming and patient, and the results very nice indeed. There is a small patio on one side, you can eat inside or take out. We had very pleasant sandwiches supplemented with a shared salad (pre-made in a refrigerator). Very low key, no professional veneer and very good results.
