It was good to discover that the ferry service did not take advantage of being the meal serive available. Food was very good and staff serving very nice.
While this is a cafeteria style restaurant, the food was very good and considering it was aboard a ferry with no competition, quite affordable. Food generally is fairly expensive in the Atlantic Provinces, even considering the favorable exchange rate with the US. This ended up being one of our least expensive meals. It's not fancy, but the staff obviously cares enough to make it tasty and it's served quickly.
We travelled the Adventurer ferry to Grand Manan and enjoyed a very pleasant experience. The views leaving & arriving at the respective harbors were exceptional. There was plenty of comfortable seating both on deck & inside. The cafeteria food was delicious, freshly made and reasonably priced. Smooth sailing both ways. Tip: make a reservation ahead of time & arrive 45 min early as instructed. Passenger vehicles line up early.
We loved riding on the Ferry & dining on great chowder & fish & chips. We leave Grand Manan tomorrow back to California. The Ferry is wonderful/ but SO SAD to leave our daughter & Grand daughter.
