Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe had a terrible, frustrating experience. the most frustrating part is that the phone number goes to the handy of a person whose voicemail is full. if she picked up the phone and corrected our $50 delivery order, the $25 worth of his food and an hour later than promised, then it could have been a way to salvage this. any restaurant that sends guests directly into a full-voicemail box is the warning sign they need. I was taken for $25 and there is no other resort than going there in this week what I guess will lead in just wasted time and money.
The food is excellent, there is no getting around that! I’m sure it’s why they have stayed in business all of these years. I didn’t want to post this review publicly, but there is no email address associated with Gita pita on their website. I have always had horrible customer service here, but today took the cake. The young woman rolled her eyes at every request any customer made. Mis-heard me ask for 2 greek fries instead of 2 pitas. Insisted on charging me for both the pitas and the greek fries. She was so mean to every customer, not just me. I know it’s hard to find staff right now, but if I ever see her working again I will turn around and find food elsewhere. It was very disheartening on a human level that she could treat people that way, let alone a customer service establishment. If it were my business, I would restrict her to back of house and prep only.
Gave this place another try, won't be back! Dirty restaurant. They place the bread on the prep table without anything under it and touches every container and topping from other orders. Both times the gyro beef/lamb chunks are expired looking and tasting. They cut their meat in cubes instead of the thin slices...gross. Cucumber/tomato mix old and slimy. The only good compared to other restaurants is their pita bread. Falafel is tiny, size of a grape!! Staff doesn't seem to care or take business seriously. Felt like I was poisoned to death after eating the food. Will never go back.
Great gyros, the real deal and very reasonably priced. You'll have to stand in a line to order and sometimes if they're busy it can be kind of long but the service is still relatively fast and friendly. There is no parking but depending on the time of your visit, you can usually find a spot along the side street.
People were really friendly and professional when it came to drinking in the store by making sure to tell me to drive safe and drink responsibly but had to be the best gyro I’ve had in a long time thank you gita pita
