Avaliação da contribuiçãoI can't say anything but good things about this restaurant. I was really happy to stumble upon this gem of a place. I didn't realize just how awesome it would be, to where I would absolutely need a reservation to get in on a busy night, but I didn't know going in that it was also such a small place. They really do make REALLY good use of the space that they have, though, including some seating at the bar, and another stretch of bar seating overlooking the kitchen (which is really cool, also). We were looking at an incredibly long wait time, but with perfect timing, 2 seats at the bar opened up just after we walked in the door! Thankfully, the bar is still full service, and we were served by a very nice and extremely busy bartender. We decided on doing a full tapas style of dinner, which isn't required, as they do have some large plate options on the menu. We started with the feta grape leaves and absolutely fell in love. By far the best thing on the whole menu. We followed that up with the octopus skewer, Limon patatas, and the lamb coil skewer. Everything was exceptional. We knew we wanted one more thing to share but couldn't resist we got another order of the feta grape leaves. Honestly, you MUST get them! Overall, we loved this place. I can't wait to go back (with reservations)!!
Wow, I was invited to come to friends here. I didn't know. The atmosphere is cold. We were visited by the boss and manager during our stay. The staff was amazing and extremely polite and accommodating. We have tried almost the entire menu, but above all enjoyed the hummus, which was delightful, smooth and creamy (not heavy), the roasted beets, the branzino (white fish), the mussels and... I could go on. For Dessert we had the orange pistachio cake and a sip of champagne. Make yourself a favor and visit here.
From start to finish this place never fell short. Opened up with some charred beets as an appetizer. Fried cauliflower with roasted walnuts and grapefruit segments with mint. The chicken Al Mattone was awesome with reggiano polenta. We also shared the crispy eggplant with a cured green tomato sauce. I look forward to another visit for the vanilla saffron creme brulee. Or the orange pistachio cake. Thanks for a great time Marcona...!
This review is coming a bit late. We went to 3 resteraunts during resteraunt week. This was the first one we tried. They told us that we all had to order from the resteraunt week menu or none of us could. We didn't think anything of it until we went to the others. They were literally the only place that said that, and that doesn't sit well with me. The food was okay, but not especially good or memorable . I wouldn't order them again. The best things apart of that menu were the dessert. And the cocktails. I'm curious to know what the normal menu items are like but after the small amount and average taste at a disproportionately large price I'm not exactly inclined to come back.
This is a perfect addition to the neighborhood! Loves the unique food, delicious cocktails, unusual wines, beautiful furnishings and amazing staff! Bonus... it's close enough to go here. The menu changes, this last visit I swallowed the garlic chicken. I wish I had a photo of the bottles of wine we ordered the next time. Note: Can be used Get her suggested app on her waiting list.
