Avaliação da contribuiçãoNow located in the Radisson, I was still disappointed by this restaurant. The service was little to none existing. I noticed others having to go and ask for service and basic things like cutlery, water, etc. People had dirty plates piled on the tables. Dishes in the buffet were 4 curries, plain rice, onion Pokora, and some fruit and veggies with sauces. When asking for more naan, which we thought was included in the buffet and was confirmed by the owner who spent most of his time on his phone, we were told we would be charged extra. Will never come here ever again.
The food was very good, so many excellent choices and you can choose your heat on a scale of 0 to 5, I went with 2.5 and my dinner guest went with 0. I loved the view of the Grand River while dining, and the restaurant was so quiet it was very relaxing. I had the Mango Lamb and Naan, and would order it again. I noticed that there were a lot of take out orders, but at 6:00 P M. I was a little worried that we were the only 2 dining, another party of several people came in as we were leaving, I hope this restaurant thrives because good Indian food, especially on my side of town is hard to find. Hopefully I will be back soon.
I gave them three stars for food and location only. I have to take one star because they had such poor service that it is better to go somewhere else. And another star because they don’t have halal meat.We went there on Saturday around 6pm with the family and ordered our food by 6:30pm. We got the appetizer in 40 mins and then there was another delay of 40 mins between appetizers and main course. By which time our children have had enough and we had had to hurry.
My new favorite Indian place in GR! Can’t wait for the outdoor patio next summer. Great view of the river. Raj and the staff were outstanding. Highly recommend.
We visited this restaurant today(06/20/22) from a long trip. We were hungry so we ordered 10 mins before we arrived as the restaurant's kitchen was about to close. Paula was the receptionist/attender who took our order on the phone. She was so polite and patient in getting our order. After we sat at the table, she instantly bought all the ordered food to the table. There was one Chicken Biriyani yet to arrive. She told she was working on it. Later we heard the bell sound from the kitchen when she was attending another customer. It was from chef Mr. Sunny. She went to the kitchen after addressing the customer. In the kitchen, Sunny started yelling at her as she didn't come there to take the food. She was explaining that she was the only one attending the customers. Also, he didn't make the chicken biriyani that we were waiting for. He argued that he made the food correctly for the order he got and further said the kitchen is closed and he had to leave. Ms. Paula was trying to explain that he did wrong but he was arguing that he was right and he left the kitchen.Later somehow we got our chicken biriyani. We didn't like the chef's attitude towards the attender. He thinks that he's the boss of the restaurant. Such attitude can't be tolerated. Which will weaken the customer affinity towards this restaurant. The food was below average. They should improve better.Place was ambient and organized. Owner should hire chefs with good attitude and better cooking skills.Hope Mr. Owner sees this. Good luck!
