If I start to write about my experience here yesterday, being July 11th 2024, this page will not be enough. The OWNER of this restaurant apparently knows NOTHING about the relationship between a CUSTOMER a POTENTIAL customer. He believes that because you are yet to patronize him, you are NOT a customer. I wish I could rate this sore a MINUS ZERO( 0) due to lack of customer service/relations. He needs some SERIOUS training on that especially for him to know that it is NOT only FOOD he is selling. He became verbally aggressive towards me the instant I dropped the American accent picked up my Nigerian accent he caught on that I am from his tribe country where they're very aggressive with igbo women. I could go on and on. However, it is not going to succeed in painting the correct picture of the horror of this experience with the owner of the store/restaurant who DEFINITELY needs to do better ASAP. Really sad.
Went on sunday 6/16 the fair skin lady with the short haircut took more than 15-20 minutes to package jellof rice-plaintain- customers came and went aft i had been waiting for over 20 min and one stick of suya- and put 2 tablespoons of rice in the container and 4piecs of fat and bone for the goat meat requested?????.Another server older woman with braids- was rude- when asking for an item. Be conscious of how u treat customers- without customers there's no business- food for thought
This is my go-to spot when I do not feel like cooking egusi soup or cassava leaf. I’m Nigerian so I’ve tried some places around town that weren’t that great. I’ve never had a bad experience here. The egusi is top tier. I usually only get the egusi and cassava leaf with beef or goat and moi moi. All the other menu items, I make at home but I would definitely try it if I didn’t cook. As far as the spice, it’s perfect! I always ask for more spice too. Nigerian food is typically spicy. I’m sure this place cooks in bulk and most of the customers don’t mind the spice. If they were to cook a small batch without spice I’m sure that food would go to waste. If you don’t like spice, this is not the place for you.
I eat here every other day … their food is delicious every time and I love the spicy kick to my egusi soup it’s made with love ..great place no complaints there are very respectful also great customer service
