Avaliação da contribuiçãoVisited Nooks Kindles for the first time today and was very pleased. I ordered the traditional acai bowl. It came with fresh berries, granola, coconut flakes and organic honey. The bowl tasted awesome. It felt like i was eating a dessert, but it's healthy. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. This will now be one of my regular spots. Highly recommend
Overpriced, incompetent and poor quality. This is my third affair with the establishment and once again third regret. Our first encounter included a twenty five minute wait for one açaí bowl and one pitaya bowl. I've never seen a place take so long to make a simple bowl. Our second encounter included the same order yet the employee explained they are out of pitaya, and apparently his reasoning was a pitaya shortage causing everyone else in the area to also be out. It's interesting when the next morning I stopped into kitchen Kabaret to find they had no shortage of pitaya. Our third encounter included two more açaí bowls. I asked specifically for peanut butter to be added to the bowl, a usual request which I'm usually asked if I would like pbfit or regular peanut butter. Instead the employee added the pbfit, and when I questioned the final result, dumbfounded he said we are out of peanut butter assuming I'm okay with the latter. His expression was cold and seemed stoned out of reality. The bowls themselves: icy as if I was eating sorbet, the granola is also a bit stale and leaves a weird aftertaste. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone especially with the wonderful other places. The only decent items are their shakes but at 8 dollars I would recommend just heading to equinox cafe, Marles or gemellis for better value and quality.
I originally gave 5 stars because I was blown away. I went back the next day and it was the complete opposite. First off, the guy told me that location doesn 't offer pitaya. I explained I had it just the day before. He said oh well we are out. Okay, not that big of a deal. Ordered two regular acai bowls. When I got back to my office, the acai was still completely frozen. Like the plastic spoon could barely break it and it was impossible to mix up. I let it sit for 20 minutes and then it was better but I realized the guy forgot to put honey on it which made it taste pretty bland.
Get this place all the time. Always delicious. But right now I have to say I'm annoyed. I ordered through Uber Eats and not only did I not have the option to add more fruit, it wasn't wrapped up and leaked everywhere. I love strawberries in my acai bowl and I made a note to please add strawberries and charge me extra. Of course there are no strawberries. So disappointed!
Tried this place on my into work and got an aloha with mango as they didn't have pineapple. It was good but the sweetness of pineapple would have made it better I think. Also had the signature acai bowl. Decent portion size and was delish as it was packed with granola.
