Cracker Barrel - Greenville

Our waitress was new and so was slow but we had a very large group and weren't in a hurry. She was super friendly and apologetic about not being fast. The only problem we had was with the kitchen not cooking one of our orders. When they did finally send it out it wasn't even fully cooked. I called for a manager and she came immediately and went above and beyond to make it right. I had the pecan pancakes and they were outstanding!

I had a mother-son date night, and overall it was pleasant. However, my eggs were a bit slimy, so I sent them back. Unfortunately, our waiter didn't meet our expectations. On the bright side, I enjoyed quality time with my son.

The staff were friendly and approachable, but the dining area was in need of better upkeep; the floors were not kept free of debris, and tables were not promptly cleaned after guests left. The table behind us remained piled with dirty dishes and trash throughout our visit. There was also an inconvenient table situated right behind the hostess desk, where she continually tried to seat parties, but everyone, including my group, requested to be moved elsewhere due to the constant foot traffic in that area. Our server, Cameron, was brand new but handled our requests well. Although our food took longer than expected to arrive—unusual since we only ordered breakfast items, apart from a loaded baked sweet potato and some steamed broccoli—it was worth the wait, as it did not disappoint. The prices are reasonable for the portions served. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone in search of comfort food and a lovely shop for old-fashioned treats, trinkets, and clothing.

We were seated promptly upon arrival! The menu had excellent choices, and the appetizer bread was delicious! The atmosphere was comfortable, although the tables were a bit closer to other diners than we preferred. Our server was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. Overall, it was a nice experience, and we enjoyed some pleasant shopping afterward.
